Terms of Use

Effective date: September 28, 2026

1. Who we are and these terms

SVG Converter (svgconverter.online, the "Service") is operated by RETTER DIGITAL OÜ (registry code 17003675), Estonia ("we", "us"). These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and us. By using the website or the API you agree to them; if you use the Service on behalf of a company, you agree for that company. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

Conversions are produced automatically. Results depend on the input image and may not be perfect; please check them before you rely on them.

3. Accounts and API keys

You may build the API into your own products and services, including ones you offer to your customers, as long as each request is made with your own key and counts against your own plan.

4. Plans, payment and cancellation

5. Refunds and your right of withdrawal

Payments are not refundable, except where these terms or the law say otherwise, or where we decide to refund at our discretion (for example, after a service failure on our side). If you think you were charged by mistake, email us.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a right to withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. By starting to use a paid plan during that period, you ask us to begin providing the service immediately; if you then withdraw, you pay for the conversions you used before withdrawing, in proportion to your plan. To withdraw, email us within the 14 days.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Your images and results

You keep all rights to the images you upload and to the SVG and PNG files you get back. You give us only the permission needed to convert your files and return the result. We do not store your images or results once the conversion has finished, and we do not use them to train any model.

You are responsible for having the right to use the images you upload, and for how you use the results (for example, a logo may be someone's trademark).

8. Our Service

The website, the software behind it, and the SVG Converter name and logo belong to us. These terms do not give you any rights to them beyond using the Service as described here. You may not copy the website or reverse engineer the Service.

9. Changes and availability

We keep improving the Service and may change, add or remove features. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, and we may need to interrupt it for maintenance. If we plan a change that would break existing API integrations, we will tell API customers in advance where we reasonably can.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or close your access, or revoke API keys, if you breach these terms, if your use puts the Service or others at risk, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close a paid account without a breach on your part, we will refund the unused part of the current period.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those in these terms, including that the results will suit a particular purpose. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service or its results, whether direct or indirect, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption. This applies to the free tools and the paid plans alike. The only exceptions are liabilities the law does not allow us to exclude; if you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights also remain.

13. Indemnity

If you use the Service for a business, you will compensate us for claims by third parties that arise from the images you upload or from your breach of these terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes are settled by the courts of Estonia (Harju County Court in the first instance). If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim in its courts. Before going to court, please email us; most problems can be solved that way.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above, and for changes that materially affect paid plans we will tell API customers by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree to the new terms, you can cancel before they apply; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.
